Karmic Courage Productions has announced an open CREW/CASTING CALL for FIRST THEY CAME FOR…a short film directed by IWG president, Kate Chaplin. Sunday, October 28, 10am-2pm
ABOUT THE PROJECT
''First They Came For'' is inspired by the poem by Reverend Martin Niemoller. The short film will be set in a not so distant future where a nondescript regime takes away various discriminated groups out of everyday situations where they are creating no crime all the while our Narrator watches this injustice happen and struggles between standing up and saving himself.
This film is being made for Pangea Day:
Pangea Day taps the power of film to strengthen tolerance and compassion while uniting millions of people to build a better future. On May 10, 2008 – Pangea Day – sites in Cairo, Dharamsala, Jerusalem, Kigali, London, New York City, Ramallah, and Rio De Janerio will be videoconferenced live to produce a 4-hour program of powerful films, visionary speakers and uplifting music.
